Winter has arrived

We have been suffering with the cold northeast wind for the last few days. We have a good tonne of coal in the shed and have just had a load of good ash logs delivered but the cold still gets to you if you step out without wrapping up. Here are a few photos of the views around us.

The leaves on the buddlia are like frozen sentries at the gate.

Our hedge has a sparkle to it that is very attractive

Pity the poor landworker who has to turn out to cut veg for the supermarkets. This view was taken of the field over the road and shows a field of cauliflowers.
